RSSH is an SSH client developed by publisher rssh, positioned in the terminal and remote administration category as an "AI ops copilot" for managing servers and infrastructure. The current version is 0.3.1, with a total of eight versions released to date. Its central purpose is to assist operators directly in the terminal: rather than acting as a generic chat box, its AI triage feature reads the actual terminal context, proposes read-first diagnostic commands annotated with their side effects, and gates every suggestion behind an explicit "Run" click. Before any payload leaves the machine, it passes through a shape validator and local redaction so that keys and internal addresses are never transmitted verbatim. The client renders every command and its output as a color-coded block with a colored left edge, making it easy to locate prior output within a 10,000-line scrollback, and all rendering happens locally with no agent installed on the server. Use cases span interactive SSH sessions supporting password, private key, keyboard-interactive authentication, and jump hosts (ProxyJump); xterm terminal emulation with keyword highlighting and search; SFTP file browsing with upload and download; local and remote port forwarding with named configurations and real-time statistics; local terminal sessions that auto-detect zsh, bash, or PowerShell; session recording in asciicast v2 format with variable-speed playback; and reusable command snippets invoked via Cmd+E. Profiles and credentials are stored in a single SQLite database shared between the CLI and GUI, so a command such as "rssh open prod" launches a configured session from any terminal, with import from ~/.ssh/config supported. Secrets reside in the platform keychain, sync can be filtered per credential, and encrypted backups can be saved to the user's own GitHub repository. The same hosts and keys also work on mobile, which offers a virtual keybar for Ctrl and Alt, and inside a JetBrains tool window.
